    Emphasis on Writing and Interacting online

              1) Students make their own comics this week!

2nd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

    Emphasis on:   Photo Gathering and Editing

                1)  Students gather images online, and then edit them using PicMonkey!

3rd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

     Emphasis on Desktop Publishing - The Newsletter Unit

             1)  Students begin planning for an actual newsletter using templates.

4th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:    Google Docs Essays!

         1)  Students begin a big "writing" unit with an essay on comparing
                 and contrasting.  First, they work in a Venn Diagram.

         2)  If time permits, students will move onto entering their similarities
                and differences into another graphic organizer.

         3)  When all is said and done, students will compose an essay in
               Google Docs below.
