FIRST GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

    Emphasis on:   Neighborhoods and/or Thanksgiving

                  1. Using Kid Pix, students select an environment and fill it
                           with the appropriate individuals in their roles.

                             OR

                  2. In honor of Thanksgiving that will preempt class next week,
                           we will do a SPELLING/GRAPHICS activity in Kerpoof!

2nd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:   Desktop Publishing

                1. Using Print Shop Deluxe, students begin a unit on
                      Templates making creative print-outs.

3rd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

      Emphasis on: using the Word Thesaurus!

                1) Students play a great game in Word using the built-in
                       Thesaurus.

4th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:    Wiki Work!

5th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:    Multimedia File Types!!!

                1. Students dive deep into a very important lesson on identifying
                     FILE TYPES for use in multimedia presentations.

                2. Students use GOOGLE to download .wav files.

                3. Students complete a digital worksheet to reinforce their
                     new knowledge.
