JUST FOR FUN - Send in your "Success Story" to our web page.  Make it fun, make it serious, make it just for the heck of it.  Why are you so happy?  Why are you successful?

---------------------------------------------------------

John Boenitz - I first realized my talent at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show.  I was  showing off for the high school ladies crushing beer cans with my forehead when a brand-new presidential advisor named George Stephanopoulis!!!  Next thing I know I'm on Air Force One heading to Camp David with my new position as Secretary of Partying Down!!!  I spent the next few years bloodying my forehead on presidential aluminum, but my good fortune soon plummeted when I "borrowed" Henry Kissinger's glasses (I had an eye infection!).
Fortunately, I was able to come back to Vernon and land work as a freelance photographer for the Vernon News sports section.  At $5 a picture I can't complain.  Plus, I'm able to really get in touch with my people, the fans.  I always envisioned myself in those hallowed metal bleachers at Vernon Stadium, and now I have finally come full circle and find myself sitting there amongst the ghosts of Vikings past.
I'd like to take this time to thank everyone who has touched my life.  From my stepsister, who taught me how to love and about intimacy, to my father, who taught me how to cut my losses, it's been a long, strange trip.  Go VIKINGS!!!

Eric Edelson - For a couple of years Eric performed as an exotic dancer all over the world. After that he was lifting weights for the US Amateur team doing the clean and jerk; he almost qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team.  He is now working as a reptile specialist analyzing snake skins.
In all honestly, he tour managed a punk band for a while and toured with them all over the United States for a couple of years.  He is now an account executive for a company on the east coast.
