Our Teachers

We are so lucky to have such an incredible cohort of talented, friendly, caring, and professional technology instructors working with us! PlanetBravo employs over 50 teachers throughout the year. These teachers facilitate our daytime classes in schools, our 1-on-1 professional development programs, and of course, our seasonal camps!

All of PlanetBravo's technology teachers have a special combination of:

• Extensive experience working with technology!
• A strong, successful history of working with children!
• A warm, fun, and engaging personality!

PlanetBravo instructors are hired personally by Academic Director Danny Pezzotta, completing an essay application, reference checks, in-person interviews, and full background clearance through the CA Department of Justice and the FBI.

Communication is key at PlanetBravo! For our daytime classes, instructors are responsible for sending weekly reports to our Academic Director so the following week's lessons are adapted and modified to a class's particular needs. For instance, if one of our instructors reports back that a 5th grade class is starting a unit on world exploration, the upcoming week's multimedia unit would be adapted to integrate explorers - perhaps an animation lesson bringing an explorer's route to life! We make sure that our teachers understand that computer class isn't separate from students' normal class work, but instead a digital enhancement of it.
