              1)  Students finish their two-week unit on making a Kid Pix
                    Alphabet Book as a class.

FIRST GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

    Emphasis on:   Simple Clipart Acrostics

                  1. Students continue formatting letters and inserting clipart
                        on this acrostic activity in Microsoft Word.

2nd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:   Text Wrapping Images in Word

                1. Students find new images of 1 Habitat and 1 Animal and
                     put them together in Word to camouflage the animal.

3rd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

   Emphasis on:    Academic Acrostics

              1.  Students create Academic Acrostics based on last week's
                      Web quest activities.  Acrostics focus on FORMATTING
                       in Word Processing programs.

   Emphasis on
:    Podcast Planning

                1. Students begin planning their own podcast episodes that
                     will be available online for iTunes Store download!  In this

       Emphasis on
  Animation and Programming

                1. Students continue their unit on Animation and Programming
                      using Scratch software by MIT. 

                      Today's assignment:  Make Trivia Games using the IF command.
