What is PlanetBravo?
Back
in 2003, a little computer camp was born.
This camp possessed all the lovable elements of computers and
entertainment: digital video editing, 3D animation, video games, and
more.
Techno-tainment
camp has had a growth spurt since its birth, and now PlanetBravo is
present in nearly 20 local schools and recreation centers in the Los
Angeles area. We run day-time class at schools that are in need of
putting their computer lab to work; we run almost 30 different
after-school courses ranging from video game creation to web design
to stop-motion music videos! We also run our summer camp,
which you can read about
HERE.
At PlanetBravo, we put an emphasis on creativity
and fun. Not
only do we want our students
to develop skills to explore technology on their own, we want them to
find their creative sides and explore them as well. No matter how
much children know about computers and their artistic abilities,
there is still much to discover and develop.

Nothing Else Like It
At PlanetBravo, we aim to
shape the way students view technology as a tool for their success.
We
provide students with the latest equipment available to get them
started for a future in technology.
We
work hard to make technology and media fun, easy to understand, and
most importantly, meaningful.
Does your child's school
have a computer lab that does not get used often enough? Well,
PlanetBravo can put it to good use. We teach a standards-based
technology curriculum one to five days a week at local
schools. It's a win for teachers and their students. Not only
do the students get a fun class to look forward to that is filled
with innovative lessons, the classroom teachers work with our
instructors to integrate and revamp their current lessons to include
technology!
PlanetBravo is a program in which students
discover their digital options
when met with a task. If a teacher assigns a book report, a
PlanetBravo student utilizes digital video cameras, green screens,
presentation software and much more to bring the assignment to life
in ways they never attempted before.
Above all, PlanetBravo’s teachers and staff are fun and
knowledgeable. We believe in rewards and the value of technology in
education. Our students gain self-confidence by finding success with
state-of-the-art media. There really is nothing else like it.

History
PlanetBravo
is a program designed by educator Danny Pezzotta, founder of Techno-tainment Camp in Beverly Hills. Danny and Yong Lee
are partners in the program.
Danny has worked with
after-school programs and technology summer camps since 1998. Techno-tainment
Camp in Beverly Hills has been a California award-winning summer
camp since its inception in 2003. In addition to running
Techno-tainment camp,
Danny served as the technology instructor and coordinator for a school in Beverly Hills
for six years. During that time, he was recognized with innovation
awards by district, state and national organizations.
Yong Lee is a father of five children
who believes children build confidence by experiencing creative
pursuits. He has also founded several
hi-tech educational and international communications companies.
Techno-tainment Camp’s mission has always been to
give children positive experiences with technology in an
entertaining environment using today’s best multimedia tools.
PlanetBravo continues that tradition of excellence and enhances it
with an academic touch. Now students can apply their entertaining
technology lessons directly to their school work. When a new project
is assigned in school, PlanetBravo students are encouraged to turn
to a computer and bring them to life digitally. It’s fun, easy and
meaningful!
