How it Works
What is PlanetBravo?
PlanetBravo is
currently the largest computer and technology Summer Camp in Los
Angeles, as well as a provider of in-school computer instruction and
after-school enrichment courses. But it wasn’t always that way! Back
in 2003 at its creation, PlanetBravo was just one camp. Since then,
it has grown to include nearly 20 local schools and recreation
centers. We provide day-time classes in several school districts
around Los Angeles, and offer dozens of different after-school
courses ranging from video game creation to web design to
stop-motion movies made with LEGOs and everything in-between!
Through it all, the
emphasis has always been on creativity and fun. We want our students
to explore - not just in the realm of technology - but also the
creative potential bottled up inside of them. We say let it out!
It never ceases to amaze when we see what children can do, and at
PlanetBravo we strive to continue their exploration, discovery, and
education.

Nothing Else Like It
PlanetBravo
is your child’s solution to a better education through computers and
technology. We teach students to view technology as a tool that will
help them in every aspect of the classroom, and provide them with
the latest equipment
 available
to seize the opportunity. We take the sometimes difficult topics of
technology and media, and make them fun, easy to understand, and
most importantly, meaningful.
We’ve never met a computer
lab we couldn’t put to good use! Our instructors teach
standards-based technology curriculum one to five days a week in
local schools, exciting students with innovative lessons and fun
coursework. Our classes also benefit the schools' teachers as well!
Our instructors work with classroom teachers
to integrate their current lessons, revamping them to include
technology.
Through our program, students discover their digital
options when met with a task. When assigned a book report, the
typical student uses a computer to type it up and hand in however
many pages are asked. A PlanetBravo student utilizes video cameras,
green screens, presentation software and more to really bring the
project to life and up off the page.
We feel supremely confident in our students because
we know our instructors and staff are fun, caring, and
knowledgeable. Every professional involved with PlanetBravo believes
whole-heartedly in the value of technology in education, and will
work with students as they gain self-confidence finding success with
state-of-the-art media. It’s an amazing thing to see.

History
PlanetBravo
is a program designed by educator Danny Pezzotta, founder of Techno-tainment Camp in Beverly Hills. He and Yong Lee
are partners in the program.
Yong
Lee is a father of five children who believes children build
confidence by experiencing creative pursuits. He has also
founded several high-tech educational and international
communications companies.
Danny has worked with
after-school programs and technology summer camps since 1998. In addition to running
Techno-tainment camp,
Danny served as the technology instructor and coordinator for a school in Beverly Hills
for six years. During that time, he was recognized with innovation
awards by district, state, and national organizations.

How It Works
PlanetBravo
partners
with software
companies, schools, and recreation centers in the greater Los
Angeles area to offer day time classes, after-school courses, and
summer camps focused on new media technologies. Students register
for after-school and summer classes through our website, allowing us
to keep a record and parents easy access. If you want day-time
