It's our 24th summer, and we've learned a thing or two about what drives great STEM education. Our philosphy centers on motivating and inspiring children through rewarding experiences in our labs and outdoors. Whether it's on a device, building with their bare-hands, or playing with old and new friends outside, our experienced staff is making sure each camper is engaged, active, and having fun.
Our counselors really are the all-stars that make our camps special, and many of them are camper-favorites who have been teaching with us for several years.
Since no two individuals learn at the same pace, we've designed our classes to be small, safe places where every student gets the attention he or she needs to be successful.
We know that learning happens everywhere, so our campers get a healthy balance of time both indoors working on their computers and outdoors playing games.
Every day at camp is filled with fun group activities and games, and our project-based curriculum is carefully designed to be engaging for all our students.
We believe every child should have access to a quality education, so we work hard to keep our rates as low as possible while maintaining the highest of academic standards. In fact, in 2024, we're offering our lowest prices in years! While others are raising prices, we're dropping them!
Campers are guided and supported in each of their work periods with their teacher there in the camp lab with them. Teachers can even control camper screens (with permission) to help with some challenging bugs, or annotate their screens to nudge in the right direction.

Techno-tainment Summer Camp runs one-week sessions Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm for students entering grades K-9. Students sign-up for one (1) week-long course at a time from the list of available courses. Students who sign up for multiple weeks may take all different courses, or repeat some of their favorites, since all our classes have a wealth of possible projects to complete.
Each day is balanced with a healthy mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including afternoon sports, snack break, and the ever popular computer games of Network Game Time. There are always multiple activity options during these times to ensure all students find something they enjoy.

Setting up the account and software was easy. He liked his teacher:"fun, organized, knew what he was doing." There seemed to be a good mix of instruction and work-at-your-own pace. The teacher was always great at catching people up if they needed to take a break. There was a great deal of interaction with the instructor. During "network game" time, my son was having a terrific time playing. He was very impressed by how prepared everything seemed, he said he couldn't believe it was a "pioneer week." My husband knows the software and could have helped if needed, but that was never necessary. We parents were able to get a ton of work done!"

Our staff of counselors and directors have diverse backgrounds ranging from computer science to filmmaking, robotics to animation, photography to engineering. But what do they have in common? A passion for teaching and empowering children!

Because the quality of our staff is so instrumental in the quality of our camp, each PlanetBravo instructor is hired after an extensive process: an essay application, an interview, reference checks, and full background clearance through the CA Department of Justice and the FBI.
