The classic and most popular PlanetBravo course for almost a decade is back for a wonderful winter theme this break. Campers in this course reinvent Minecraft to make it their own winter wonderland. Instead of just playing Minecraft, they are editing the code and innerworkings of the game to modify (mod) how it works. Campers make their own recipes, blocks, items, potions, biomes, and so much more. This is one of the most creative hobbyist classes that PlanetBravo offers. Fun for newbies and also for veteran campers. There is always something new to create behind the scenes for Minecraft.

While the title of this course implies the students are playing the popular sandbox game Roblox here, they are actually making their very own Roblox Obby using Roblox Studio. This is a tool that allows non-coders (and coders) to professionally make their own video game. Yes, the game is a Roblox game, but all of the pro tools such as Lua scripting, 3D model editing and more are included. This is a great entry-level course into the career of computer game design.

Lua is one of the world's most versatile and accessible programming languages, and PlanetBravo is introducing students to this popular code. With any experience (in Python, JavaScript, or Roby), or no experience at all, Lua is a perfect coding language to begin now. Campers begin by making simple text-based Lua games for computers. These games range from an AI chat program, to Mad Libs, to Trivia, to Random Number Guessers. The important thing to know is that students here not only use Lua code, but they can read the language and craft numerous programs with it for free, too. This is a must-take course if your child ever expressed interest in how games and programs get made.

This is a must-take course for the budding digital artist! Using Adobe's "Animate" software, campers create their very own 2D cartoons with or without holiday themes for added fun. Learn best practices for walking animations, lip movement, frame-by-frame, and tween animations, to name a few essential skills of animation. By the end of this course, campers will have created several animated characters who star in their own master project at the end of the week.

PlanetBravo welcomes our youngest campers into the world of engineering by offering a "CAD" class for Grades 2 and 3. This course uses the awesomely simple Makers Empire to teach the concepts of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D Modeling to the campers. In this course, campers design their own three-dimensional structures, objects, and even a 3D maze in which they can control their characters.
