Equipping students with a powerful 21st century skill set

We all want our children to be prepared for and succeed in school and the workforce. There is now no question that technology literacy plays a key role in that objective. No matter where they turn, they will be expected to utilize technology for a more efficient, productive result.

At PlanetBravo, our mission is to provide children and young adults with fun, confidence-boosting experiences with technology. Our curriculum is exciting and comprehensive - covering everything from basic computing skills, to programming languages and mobile app development (to name a few).

How the School Program Works

PlanetBravo partners with schools throughout California to deliver a formal PK-8th grade technology curriculum while integrating core standards in a computer lab or mobile cart environment.

Our technology teachers work onsite with your students on a weekly computer class schedule, usually once a week per class, covering a wide range of important, relevant computing topics.

We like to say, "if you can think of a computer-based skill, we teach it at some point in our PK-8 curriculum." You will find everything from coding, podcasts, and web design, to 3D modeling and animation.

Schools provide the computer lab or laptop cart; PlanetBravo provides the teacher, software, the curriculum, the video cameras, miscellaneous equipment, and in some cases, the robotics.

As an added bonus, we have an onsite tech support system that allows our team to support the faculty with technical issues whatever days we are on-campus. That means there is tech support onsite each week for no additional cost.

Schools fund the program through fundraising projects or dedicated curriculum budgets.

Curricular Overview

We take pride in developing the most comprehensive technology curriculum available at the K-8 level. Most lessons integrate directly with classroom content standards, including Common Core.

What Our Students Do:

Technology Support

PlanetBravo automatically provides Technical Support for our daytime partnered schools. This is done at no additional charge to the school.

We provide an easy, online Technical Support Request form for each of our schools. Most issues are addressed on the same day the request is received.

IT Support Services Include:

  • Maintaining and upgrading operating systems and applications.
  • Installing new hardware and software.
  • Restoring malfunctioned applications and peripherals.
  • One-on-one tutorials with faculty and staff requesting assistance.
  • Creating usernames and passwords for network accounts.
  • Maintaining school servers and network equipment.
  • ... and much more as determined by school's needs.

Free Consultation

If you would like to explore the possibilities of implementing a PlanetBravo program at your school, we would be happy to speak with you about designing a custom program.

Our first step towards seeing if PlanetBravo would be a good fit is a simple, quick, and free consultation. This involves coming to your school and discussing the current status and needs of your technology program.

Some of these meetings result in a partnership, and even those that don't, give the schools many ideas for directions they can take next with their program.
