Celebrating Children's Talents with Technology                                                                                                                                         Having a blast since 2003!

Introduction          Current Locations          Free Week of Camp

One of the most common concerns expressed by parents and administrators regarding their schools' technology
program is...

"How do we ensure that our students and teachers are using technology to its fullest?"

Many members of the school who have raised funds for an updated computer lab soon realize that having a current computer lab is only the first step in utilizing technology effectively on a K-8 level. Schools have the daunting obligation to keep up with the latest technologies on behalf of their students and teachers. Even with all the most current technological tools available, schools still must find effective leaders to get the most out of innovative integration. The DELIVERY of the technology instruction is the key ingredient, and since 2005, that's where PlanetBravo has come in.

We teach K-8 computer classes for your school.
The classroom teachers gain experience and
confidence in working with technology while
they and their students receive effective,
standards-based lessons in our classes.

We upgrade and maintain your technology.
PlanetBravo can modernize the technology programs at
a school, allowing for roaming profiles of all users, server-based
sharing, streaming video and chat tools, hourly back-ups of all
data, and so much more.  It is even possible for teachers to
access their school files from home at several locations.

Written and led by PlanetBravo Academic Director and California State Certified teacher Danny Pezzotta, PlanetBravo's technology curriculum is upgraded each and every year to meet the changing needs of our times. It is the most comprehensive program available at the K-8 level, integrating state content-standards with technology. Upon completion of the full curriculum, students will have learned how to responsibly use computers and the internet to record and edit video projects, animate digital diagrams, design websites, post wikis and blogs, along with the basics of typing, spreadsheet analysis, proper researching techniques, and troubleshooting typical computer issues.

For the past six years, our curriculum and services have been used by many local organizations. Currently, you can find PlanetBravo daytime classes in the Los Angeles Unified, Santa Monica Malibu Unified, Redondo Beach Unified, and Glendale Unified School Districts. We can also be found at several different private institutions throughout the area as well. Check out our Location Map to see everywhere you can find us.

PlanetBravo provides technology instruction with a content-standards integrated curriculum to schools in the Los Angeles area at an affordable cost, and the initial consultation is absolutely FREE.

Our goal is to bring your school to the cutting edge of technology. We can assist you in this swiftly, and most importantly, at an affordable rate for your school.

School Partnership Program

PlanetBravo provides affordable technical support, configurations,
modernization, as well as facilitates K-8 Technology Curriculum!

Bringing PlanetBravo to your school can be very rewarding, both for the school and for you! If you help us to bring daytime classes to your school, your hard work will be rewarded with a Free Week of Camp! Keep reading to find out more.

How does the "Free Week of Camp" School Partnership Offer work?
Just by introducing PlanetBravo to your school's PTA and/or Administration for a meeting about our program, we will extend you HALF-OFF this summer's camp tuition.
If the meeting leads to a partnership with your school for daytime classes, you receive a Free Week of Summer Camp -  Worth up to $500!  It's already happened four times in the last year!  Your school receives an official multimedia education program, and your child receives a free week of summer camp (over 40 hours of fun and learning).

Why this offer?
If you look at every school in which PlanetBravo facilitates the technology program, all of them were a result of a parent like you saying, "Our school needs this," and introducing the program to the PTA/Administration that made it official.
If your school has a computer lab that is only used by a few teachers, our program will change that and thoroughly make use of your technology.

What does PlanetBravo's program do?
Your school inherits a fully-integrated technology curriculum for Grades K-8.  Every week, our instructor provides hands-on lessons class-by-class that not only correspond to the California State Content Standards (in all major subjects), but also adhere to the latest and greatest technology standards.
Our staff is fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable.  We really understand educational technology and the important role it plays in our children's futures.

What topics do the classes cover?
Depending on the grade level, the students utilize all sorts of important and advanced multimedia tools with us.
Lessons include: spreadsheets, slideshows, digital video editing, animation, programming, website design, keyboarding/typing, word processing, responsible and safe internet research, emailing, podcasting, and so much more!

Do we have to wait until next school year to get started?
Not at all. We have started our program in schools at various points throughout the year.  We've kicked off our technology lessons in October, November, and even January at one school.

Is it expensive?
You will be surprised how much less this program costs than paying a full-time teacher, computer lab aide, or technical support company, and you receive so much more.  We're technology teachers and specialists.  Even better, you don't have to worry about exceeding the number of hours for staff because we take care of all that.

In what schools has PlanetBravo worked?
We have worked with over 20 schools in Los Angeles County, both in-school and after-school.
Our recent partners include:  St. Timothy School, Fairburn Ave. School, Brockton Ave. School, Castle Heights Elementary, Alta Vista School, Muir Elementary, Grant Elementary, Hillel Hebrew Academy, and Webster Ave. School to name a few.
