KINDERGARTEN LESSONS THIS WEEK

    Emphasis on Creating Pages of an ABC Book in Kid Pix

                1) PART 2:  Students continue work on their
                      ABC KidPix books.

1st GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

    Emphasis on Sentence structure and pictures in Word!

              1) Students use Microsoft Word to create sentences ending
                   with a picture representation of a word.

2nd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

      Emphasis on Digital Photography & DRAG/DROP to Word


              1)  Students search for 2 images (background/foreground)
                     using Google Image Safe Search
 

              2)  Special emphasis on Text-Wrap on photos so they
                    can overlap the two images making a camouflaged
                    scene in Word.

3rd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

        Emphasis on Research - Web Quests.

           1)  Students will continue their Web Explorations by
                going on a web quest in their teacher's chosen topic.

4th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

        Emphasis on Paragraphs and Report Covers in Word.

            1)  Students finish their vacations in 5-paragraph essay form.
           
              2)  Students create Report Covers using Microsoft Word.

5th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK

        Emphasis on creating websites.

            1.  More Web Design. Students continue their custom
                  educational websites in Kompozer.
