1st GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK


    Emphasis on ADDITION equations in Kid Pix.

               1)  Students create Addition Equations in Kid Pix in a variety of ways.

2nd GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK


    Emphasis on: Transferring Knowledge between programs.

                1)  In response to the Microsoft ad where a 4-year-old easily
                     edits photos on her PC, our 2nd graders will touch up this
                     photo using iPhoto.  They will do some cool things to it, too!

    Emphasis on: NEWSLETTER creation.

                1)  Students use Printshop Deluxe to create class newsletters!
                      Emphasis on text boxes, photo boxes, mastheads, and more.

       Emphasis on Podcasting!

             1)  Students use GarageBand to create their very
                    own Podcasts that will appear in the iTunes Store!  For real!

5th GRADE LESSONS THIS WEEK


        Emphasis on Video Production!

             1)  Students begin their multi-week unit on VIDEO PRODUCTION. 
                  Today, they plan their videos.


 

             2)  Students (on Friday) shoot their own videos!!!!
                   Emphasis on the "Calls" and "Rules" of using the cameras.
